1. Open link to Do I Need What I Want Activity Plan
2. Lead in discussion : Do we like shopping? How would we pay for items when we are shopping? Connection to session one - what would you buy with $10?
3. Share in group Need and Want Picture Cards. Provide examples of each
4. Hang up Needs and Wants Poster. Read the corresponding poems that go with the poster activity while students locate the items in the shopping cart poster. Option to circle or underline the items on the poster with students to take turns finding the items.
5. Have students open their My Junior Journal Mini Book pg. 2 to do the Needs and Wants Activity. There is a printable resource for this children can glue or attach to their workbooks
